Sarah is an experienced research manager with a demonstrated history of working in the real estate industry. With 17 years’ involvement spanning both the residential and commercial sectors, her expertise includes identifying and evaluating macro trends affecting the real estate industry and how they may impact future market performance, as well as analysis of key market metrics and the comparative performance of different channels, sectors, categories and locations.

Sarah began her research career at commercial property intelligence provider Estates Gazette Interactive (EGi), before moving to Colliers International where she initially worked as a Senior Residential Research Analyst and subsequently became an Associate Director specialising in the retail sector.

In 2012, she joined the London office of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) to lead its European research initiatives, provide research support for the association’s advocacy efforts and manage the European Research Group – a specialist committee of approx. 50 retail real estate research professionals from across Europe.

At ICSC, Sarah was a regular contributor to industry media and authored several research reports, including ‘The Socio-Economic Impact of European Retail Real Estate’, ‘Future-Proofing Retail Real Estate by Investing in Innovation’ and ‘Global Luxury Retail in the Digital Era’. She also commissioned and managed research studies exploring the topics of new leasing models in an omni-channel world and how to successfully integrate food and beverage within shopping centres.

Sarah holds an MSc degree in European Environmental Policy and Regulation and a BSc (Hons) in Geography, both completed at Lancaster University.
